Drinkware — Crockery, Cutlery & Tableware

Drinkware mostly Steelite Utopia glass with a polycarbonate corner: Steelite Utopia cocktail and wine shapes inside, Olympia Glacial for the terrace.

Buying drinkware

Nearly all of this drinkware is Steelite Utopia glass: Design+ Contemporary cocktail shapes, Summit stemless wines with carafe caps and Vivaldi rocks glasses, most between two and nine pounds. The rest is Olympia's Glacial polycarbonate, a small corner of hiballs, flutes, two-pint CE-stamped glasses and a 76cl gin balloon, built for terraces, poolsides and anywhere a dropped drink should not mean a sweep-up.

Decide by zone rather than by venue. The same bar can run Vivaldi inside and Glacial on the terrace, and the customer will not clock the difference at arm's length. Where drinks leave the building, on trays, to loungers, polycarbonate pays for itself in the first season; behind the bar, real glass still feels right in the hand.
