Buying spares & accessories
Spares and accessories are what keep working kit working. A machine down for want of a five-pound seal costs far more than the part, so knowing what you need and getting it fast is the whole game here.
The range splits into wear parts and add-ons. Wear parts are the things that fail with use: seals and gaskets, filters, elements, thermostats, wash arms and jets, which you either keep as spares or order the moment something goes. Accessories are the extras that get more out of kit you already own: additional shelves and pans, trays, baskets, racks and attachments.
The one thing that matters most with spares is getting the right part. Machines vary by model and even by build year, so the make, model and often the serial number are what pin down the correct spare. Have those to hand when you order, because the wrong part is a wasted delivery and more downtime.
Spares & Accessories: common questions
How do I find the right spare part for my equipment?
Start with the make, model and serial number, usually on a rating plate on the machine. Those identify the exact build and the correct part, because the same model can use different components across production years. If you are unsure, send us the details and a photo of the old part and we will match it.
What spares are worth keeping on the shelf?
The cheap, common wear parts whose failure stops the machine: door seals and gaskets, filters, fuses and thermostats, wash arms and jets for dishwashers. Keeping a small stock of the parts most likely to go means a five-minute swap instead of days of downtime, which pays for itself the first time a machine goes down mid-service.
Can I fit spare parts myself?
Simple parts like seals, filters, baskets and shelves are usually a straightforward swap. Anything involving gas, electrical elements or refrigerant should be left to a qualified engineer, both for safety and to keep your warranty and gas certification valid. When in doubt, ask us whether it is a DIY part or an engineer job.
Do you stock accessories to expand equipment I already own?
Yes: extra shelves, pans, trays, baskets, racks and attachments for common ovens, fridges, dishwashers and prep machines. Getting more capacity or a new function out of kit you already own is often far cheaper than buying another machine, so it is worth asking before you assume you need new equipment.
How quickly can you get a spare part?
Common wear parts we hold in our own warehouse go next working day when ordered before the cut-off, which is the point of stocking spares. Model-specific parts may be ordered in from the manufacturer, so we will confirm the lead time, and if a machine is down we will help you find the fastest route to the right part.
